How can access my yahoo mail account in to outlook and inform me yahoo pop3 and smtp server address.
External mail pop3 4 yahoomail account to configure outlook on my computer.?
Outlook doesnt like Yahoo...I have tried..if you want to try...
the incoming server is
pop3.yahoo.com
the outgoing is
smtp.yahoo.com
then it is a POP3 server....if this works...e-mail me and let me know...

What is pop3 and smtp address for yahoo? i am try to connect my yahoomail with outlook?
You can only use them if you have mail plus and are a paying member.
Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Login Information
User Name: Enter your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com").
Password: Enter your Yahoo! password.
If you do not want to pay, there is a free software, called YPOPs. You can download it and configure to use with Outlook or whatever you have. Then the Outlook may be slow or glitchy.

Can I get pop3 access on yahoo for without yahoomail plus. How do I change to ".com.au " from just ".com"
I am using a Telstra USB wireless modem so when i attempt to email to send email from scanned images on my Lexmark all in one it trys to send through outlook express and the telstra usb modem will not access optus email. So telstra tell me i will have to use a yahoo ".com.au" mail a/c because that allows pop3 and just yahoo".com" does not allow pop3 access. Any other solutions anybody???

聽聽聽First, you can get pop access for Yahoo! Mail without paying for it, but only if you are an @yahoo.co.uk or @yahoo.co.au account holder. Unfortunately, you can not just change your account from plain old @yahoo.com to @yahoo.co.au You'd have to go to http://yahoo7.com to get into the Aussie servers or http://uk.yahoo.com/ to get into the UK servers then create a whole new account.
聽聽聽Even then it sounds like your attempt to e-mail something from your printer/scanner would still open Outlook As for your Outlook opening up, you may just need to set the default mail program on your computer to Yahoo! Mail, that would open your Yahoo! Mail whenever you clicked any e-mail link. In an Internet Explorer window go to the Toolbars at the top of the window and click "Tools" then "Internet Options" then the "Programs" tab. If you don't use IE then click the "Start" button at the lower left corner of your screen, then click "Control Panel" then "Internet Options" then the "Programs" tab. Select "Yahoo! Mail" from the pull down menu next to "E-mail" then click "Apply" and "OK"

You can get you POP3 emails in yahoo account BUT can not get yahoo mails on POP3 account.
